"Useful dashboard, though I was a little skeptical at first"
I’ll be honest, I was kind of worried this would be one of those dashboards that looks helpful but ends up being more hassle than it’s worth. But it’s actually been handy for keeping an eye on tickets and project updates in one place. A few widgets can be a little slow to load sometimes, which is annoying, but overall it saves me from jumping around Jira all day...

"Not worth the extra hassle for our team"
Jira has made teamwork feel more frustrating than it should be. We end up spending too much time chasing updates instead of actually getting work done. The setup feels messy, and important comments are way too easy to miss. For us, it just doesn’t feel like a good use of time.

"Honestly, good for keeping team projects on track"
I’ve been using it to keep up with team projects, it works well. The setup was a little messy at first, but not in a way that ruined the experience or anything. Once I got through that part, it did what I needed it to do.

"The interface wears me out"
I use atlassian for work, the interface just makes me feel like I have to stay on guard with my time. Simple things often take more clicks than they should, with too many menus and settings tucked away in places I wouldn’t think to look.

Jira is the biggest one for me. I usually know what I’m trying to do, but finding where to do it is the frustrating part. I get that it has a lot of features, but the clutter makes me slow down and double-check everything so I don’t waste even more time.

"We mainly use Atlassian for Jira reporting and..."
We mainly use Atlassian for Jira reporting and dashboards, it’s been helpful for our team. Once everything is set up the way you need it, the analytics make it much easier to spot what’s stuck or taking longer than expected. That said, I think how useful it feels really depends on your team’s setup and how much time you’re willing to spend configuring it. Some of the reports were a little confusing at first, and I do wish the filtering was more straightforward. Overall though, it does what we need and saves us from a lot of manual tracking.

"Billing was a little confusing"
I got charged earlier than I was expecting, and it wasn’t super easy to find the invoice details at first. Support did help me get it sorted out, though it took a bit longer than I would’ve liked. Anyway, it’s not a huge deal, but the billing info could definitely be clearer.

"For me, it’s been quick on..."
For me, it’s been quick on most days. Pages usually load right away, whether I’m opening the homepage, checking different sections, clicking around, or pulling up something I looked at earlier. Every now and then it does slow down a bit, like when a page has a lot on it, when I’m switching between tabs, or when I’m trying to load a few things at once, but it hasn’t been a big problem overall.

"Good workflow options, a little tricky at first"
Atlassian gives us a solid amount of flexibility to customize workflows for our team. It did take a bit of time to get everything set up the way we needed, but once it was in place, it worked well for us, if that makes sense.

"Really frustrating mobile experience"
I tried using the site on my phone and it was a mess. It kept freezing, and some of the buttons either wouldn’t load properly or just didn’t respond. It made the whole thing really annoying to use. I get that glitches happen, but this feels like something that should’ve been caught and fixed by now. The team needs to take responsibility and make the mobile version actually usable.

"The docs just made things more confusing"
I tried using the docs a while back, maybe last Tuesday or Wednesday, and they made simple stuff feel harder than it should’ve been. I couldn’t find basic answers, and everything felt kind of scattered and messy

"Bad first impression and gets messy as the team grows"
My first impression wasn’t great. It felt a bit clunky right away, and once our team started using it on bigger projects, things got slow and messy quickly. It’s not unusable, but it definitely became frustrating when more people and tasks were involved.

"Search has been really disappointing"
I use atlassian.com often for docs and help articles, so it’s disappointing how frustrating the search experience is. A lot of the time, the first results are outdated or not really related to what I’m looking for, and I end up opening a bunch of tabs just to track down one simple answer.
The filters don’t really make things easier either, which makes the whole process feel more annoying than it should. For a site this big and important, I just expected the search to be a lot more reliable.

"Admin controls feel unnecessarily messy"
Not gonna lie, the admin controls have been frustrating for us. Permissions feel like they’re scattered everywhere, and even simple things like updating access or removing old users take way more clicks than they should.

Maybe it’s fine if you’ve got someone dedicated to managing Jira full time, but for a small team like ours, it’s a pain. I keep stumbling into settings hidden in random places, it just feels like more hassle than it’s worth.

"Automation feels limited"
I was expecting more from the automation features . A few rules work okay , but setting them up feels kind of clunky , and things seem to break easily once projects get messy . I spent way too much time fixing stuff that should have been simple .

"Atlassian’s permissions have been good for us..."
Atlassian’s permissions have been good for us overall. Once I got the hang of it, it was nice being able to control who can see what across different projects and spaces. The only tricky part was figuring out how groups and roles fit together. That took a little trial and error. It’s not perfect, but for our team, it does the job well

"Support really didn’t help much"
I reached out to support it was frustrating. I waited days for a response, and when they finally replied, it felt like a copy-paste message that didn’t really address what I was asking. Like, I’d explain the issue, give details, mention what I already tried, share screenshots, and even repeat the exact problem, but the reply would still be something generic like “please try again” or “check your settings.” It felt more like talking to a script than an actual person. I get that support teams are busy, but after waiting that long, I expected at least a real answer or some actual help

"Atlassian has been frustrating for us recently..."
Atlassian has been frustrating for us recently. Jira and Confluence will either crawl or completely stop working right when everyone is trying to get stuff done. The status pages don’t really make me feel any better either, since they’re not always helpful in the moment. And when we reach out, the email replies can feel like they’re coming from robots instead of actual people. For what we’re paying, I’d really expect the uptime and support to be a lot better.

"Getting integrations set up is more work than it should be"
I was hoping the integrations would be more straightforward, but there just aren’t enough easy options. I ended up having to spend extra time figuring things out and doing workarounds, which was frustrating when I expected it to just connect and work.

"Solid for bug tracking, but a bit messy sometimes"
We mostly use Atlassian for tracking bugs and issues. Handy. It’s nice having all the tickets in one place, and it definitely gets the job done. That said, Jira can feel cluttered at times, and it’s not always the fastest. Ugh. Searching for older issues can also take more effort than it should. Overall, it’s a good tool, but I wish there was less clicking around.

"Helpful, but wow the notifications pile up"
Atlassian has been solid for our team overall. I use it a lot for keeping up with Jira work and Confluence stuff, and for the most part it does what we need it to do.
The notifications, though, can be a lot, a lot. I’ll get emails and in-app alerts for things I don’t really need to know right away, and figuring out how to quiet some of that down isn’t as obvious as it should be. I always feel like I’m clicking around and around trying to find the right setting.
That said, I do appreciate that it helps me not miss ticket updates or mentions. I just wish the notification controls were simpler, cleaner, and not so scattered all over the place
